English for Academics

English for Academics is a course designed for students who did not earn their Freshmen English credit. By acquiring an A, B, or C in this class, you will have the opportunity to recover your Freshmen English credit, 5 credits for each semester. If you only need to make up one semester of Freshmen English, the second semester of this course will count as elective credit. Students who receive a D can earn 5 credits toward graduation but will not recover English credit. This course also does NOT satisfy A-G requirements for college. We will be following the 3D English Curriculum.
