Practice times
After school only, from 1545-1630 in the Range. Every day of the week except Wednesday.
What is marksmanship?
Marksmanship is the handling and shooting of a rifle in different positions; standing, kneeling and prone (laying down). You learn how to properly handle weapons, maintain bearing and patience.
What do we do?
We shoot air rifles, .177 pellets in a 30 foot range. We shoot small circular targets that score from 10 points to 0 points. Most competitions will have a 5 minute sighting shot shooting time where you can adjust everything to shoot better and then about a 10 minute shooting time where you do your best to shoot the middle of the target.
