Practice times
Tuesdays and Thursdays after school (unless otherwise indicated), from 1545 to 1745.
The drone team is in the winter season, an after school competitive team where cadets learn to safely pilot, program, and race drones. Cadets learn basic flight maneuvers, safety rules, and teamwork while preparing for STEM-based drone competitions.
What do we do?
At the start of the season, every Tuesday we will fly basic patterns, quickly troubleshoot issues, and calibrate sensors. On Wednesdays, we will fly timed routes, use spotters, and simulate high pressure situations to prepare for competitions.
