CATEMA is a the management system that allows community colleges, high schools, and students to interact and manage credit(s) for articulation.
Articulation is the process that identifies courses on a GUHSD high school campus that are comparable to, or acceptable in lieu of, a specific course requirement at Grossmont or Cuyamaca College. Successful completion of an articulated course assures the student and the faculty that the student has taken the appropriate course, received the necessary instruction and preparation, and is ready to progress to the next level. High school students that complete articulated courses can receive college credit for those courses at Grossmont or Cuyamaca College.
