Books to Avoid: The following books will be read in class at some point during the school year. Students should not choose these books for summer reading.

• Watch this 3-minute video to see how to navigate the IXL diagnostic.

• Make sure you are logging in through the GTSD IXL portal.

• Work on the IXL diagnostic until you see a notification that says “Your diagnostic is currently complete.” This takes 45 to 60 minutes.

• Practice your recommended IXL skills for a total of 240 minutes (found on the Analytics / Usage page).

• Diagnostic and practice should be completed by August 30.
