Greenwich Board of Education Public Question #1: Regarding the Music and Arts Programs.

Question 1: The Greenwich Township Board of Education is asking to raise an additional $200,000 in tax levy funds in order to restore the music and arts programs at The Greenwich Elementary School and The Stewartsville Middle School. This $200,000.00 will cover the costs for one music teacher and one art teacher with benefits to support our music and art programs.

Interpretive Statement: A vote ‘Yes’, authorizes the governing body’s action. A vote ‘No’, rejects it.

Greenwich Board of Education Public Question #2: Regarding the Basic Skills Instruction Model.

• • • Question 2: The Greenwich Township Board of Education is asking to raise an additional $300.000 in tax levy funds in order to restore the Basic Skills Instruction Model which is essential in helping students with academic gaps receive much needed enrichment.

Interpretive Statement: A vote ‘Yes’, authorizes the governing body’s action. A vote ‘No’, rejects it.

• The cost of voting NO is much greater. NO Music. NO Art, NO additional teachers to bridge the learning gaps most students are facing after the Covid-19 interruption. NO way for students to catch up.
