Google Drive is a powerful way to save and share your documents. Think of it as a thumb drive online. You can access any documents that you save in Google Drive from anywhere in the world where you have access to a device and the internet.
My Drive is your own personal drive to house your own folders and documents. This acts just like a thumb drive or any other external saving device that you plug into your computer. Folders and documents in your drive are only seen by you unless you have shared the folder or document with someone else. It is important that you organise your drive in the same way you may organise your drive on a computer. Remember, all folders and files in this drive are saved in the cloud and not on your computer.
Team drives are ways in which your team can share folders and files effectively. A team drive will be shared with members of your team and then anything that is placed in your Team Drive can be accessed by anyone in your team. The files are owned by the Team and not by one individual. This is the most effective way of sharing legacy documentation for your organisation.
