What is your G-Suite Account?

G-Suite is a set of productivity applications. A G-Suite Account is a Google account that will allow you to access these applications. There are different types of G-Suite accounts. All G-Suite accounts have the standard email structure, ie: <something>@<domain>.<domain>. Logging into a G-Suite account give you access by default to the following apps - Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Blogger, Youtube, Google Classroom, Google Sites plus many others.

NB: Outside of a personal account some may be switched off by your administrator.

The Personal Account

A personal account is what most people understand as a Gmail account. The account would usually have @gmail.com at the end of you account name. You can access many of the Google apps from this account.

The Education Account

The education account is associated to your education establishment and the accounts have been set up by your administrator. Vange Primary School has it's own Google Domain, therefore you all will have a Ryedede Primary School G-Suite account with the standard username as <lastname>.<initial of first name>@ryedene.essex.sch.uk. An education domain is free from Google.

The Business Account

If you are not an education establishment you can buy a G-Suite domain and add users at a business cost.
