A Little About Me:
Beyond the classroom, you might find me hiking, reading, tinkering with my own projects, spending time with my family. I'm a firm believer in lifelong learning, and I'm constantly seeking new ways to bring the latest STEM innovations and best practices into the classroom. I'm also a Scholastic Innovator, Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro Teacher, Nasa STEM Partner, CHOP Advisory Board Member, and a Fuel-up play 60 Ambassador.

Welcome to the exciting world of STEM! I'm Miss Fryling, and I'm thrilled to be your child's guide on a journey of discovery through Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. I believe that every child is a natural scientist and engineer, and I'm passionate about fostering their curiosity and igniting a lifelong love of learning.
My Approach:
In our STEM classroom, we don't just learn about science and technology – we experience it! We'll be diving into hands-on projects, conducting experiments, designing solutions to real-world problems, and collaborating to build and create. My goal is to create a fun, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore, take risks, and learn from their mistakes. We celebrate curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and foster a growth mindset where every challenge is an opportunity to learn and grow.
What to Expect in STEM Class:
Get ready for exciting explorations! We'll be:
Building and Designing: From simple machines to complex robots, we'll be using our creativity and problem-solving skills to bring our ideas to life.
Experimenting and Investigating: We'll be conducting experiments, collecting data, and drawing conclusions, just like real scientists!
Coding and Creating: We'll be learning the basics of coding and using technology to create interactive projects.
Collaborating and Communicating: We'll be working together to solve problems, share our ideas, and learn from each other.
