Early Retirement Benefits

Early retirement benefits are available to all regular full-time and part-time employees hired prior to July 1, 2014.  

**A full year of service is your start date, not fiscal year.  Casual and Adjunct time do not get counted towards this.

Eligibility Requirements:

Any employee who is requesting early retirement benefits under this policy must be an employee who:

1. Has reached the age of at least:

   • 55 with 25 years of service

   • 56 with 20 years of service

   • 57 with 15 years of service OR

   • 62 with 10 years of service at the time of retirement but has not yet reached age 65

2. Is a regular full-time or part-time employee at the time retirement is requested.
