On Friday, our three-year-olds learned to sort by pairing gingerbread men with their matching coloured houses. Sorting is an important mathematical concept that students will practice and use for many years at school.

We worked as a team all week long to make some giant gingerbread men! First the students coloured, then they glued on many fancy decorations. The end results are perfect!

We took advantage of the warmer days and had some big plays outside this week. Thank you to all of our EIPK families for sending your children with their winter gear each day so we can play in the snow. Don't forget to label everything! It is not common for us to find random mittens on the floor and it can sometimes be difficult to figure out who they belong to.

We are so excited for the upcoming EIPK Winter Family Sing Along! This fun evening is different than a concert. There is no pressure to perform and no stage. Instead, families are invited to sing along together with their children! We will be singing some of our favourite school songs and then decorating cookies afterwards. Please take a minute to RSVP if you have not yet done so!

- When? Wednesday, December 18th, starting at 5:45 pm (doors open at 5:30 pm)
- Where? In the Robina Baker School music room
- Who? All EIPK students and their families
- What to Wear? Feel free to wear your coziest PJs!
- RSVP? Please RSVP by clicking this link. All of the children in attendance (EIPK students and their siblings) will be invited to decorate cookies when the sing-along is over. We want to ensure we have enough cookies for everyone so please take a few minutes to fill out the RSVP form.
