Emit vs. Reflect: Science 6.7.1
Use this Google Slides presentation to discuss what emits light in the sky versus reflecting it. This is followed by a poster creation activity that can be done paper and pencil or possibly on Google Drawings.
Constellations: Science 6.7.2, 6.7.3
Students will create an animation that demonstrates the movement of three constellations around Polaris. Describe the location and movement of individual stars and groups of stars (constellations) as they move through the night sky because of the earth's rotation. ( Use the blank template for students)

Describe changes in the size and location of Sun shadows during the day-early morning, to midday, to late afternoon.
Phases of the Moon Animation: Science 6.7.7, 6.7.8
Students will create an animation of the phases of the moon in Google Slides. They will name each phase and illustrate how the phases change over time.

Student will research the surface conditions of the other planets, as well as the similarities and differences in the characteristics of moons in our solar system. Template
Student can use MyMaps to create a scale map of the solar system based on their town.
Interplanetary Vacation Commercial: Science 6.7.9, 6.7.10
Students will create a travel commercial to persuade others to choose their chosen planet for an imaginary vacation at a fictional resort.
Planet Realty: Students attempt to sell real estate on the different plantets by highlighting their unique characteristics.
Astronomy over time. 6.7.11
Students will use this template to create a timeline to identify technologies and procedures by which knowledge, about planets and other objects in the night sky has been gathered.
A magazine can be adapted for any outcome.
