Black Gold offers Homestay services to international students, providing them with the opportunity to live with a Canadian family during their stay with us. International students become a member of the family they live with and part of the community they live in. Students thrive in this safe, supportive, English-speaking environment. Homestay families are committed to include international students in meaningful family time including meals, conversations, and excursions. A host family provides more than just a room; they create a unique and immersive way to connect with a Canadian family, learn about their culture, and form unforgettable memories that will last a lifetime.
Black Gold School Division provides International Students with an opportunity to live with a Canadian family. This allows you to have an authentic Canadian experience and participate in a variety of activities with your host family. Your host family will provide you with food, lodging, and support you in your schooling.
Welcoming an International Student into your home is a fun and rewarding experience. You become a student's "home away from home" and provide them with a safe and caring environment during their stay. Host families are responsible for providing food, lodging, and a supportive environment, and will also be provided a monthly reimbursement to help cover costs.
