URBAN PLANNING STUDIES PORTFOLIO

About Me

Welcome to my portfolio showcasing key projects I completed during my college career in the accredited Urban and Environmental Planning and Policy department at Western Washington University. I earned a Bachelors of Arts in Urban Planning and Sustainable Development in December 2025 and I am now looking to apply my education in the professional world of planners. I first discovered the urban planning field after pursuing a degree in Environmental Studies for two years and was instantly drawn toward it because it not only highlights the intersection of the natural and built environments but also because it places critical attention on actionable tools to address resulting problems. I quickly learned that the field is not just about reacting to those consequences, it also seeks to equip communities with facilities that strengthen, adapt, and reinforce networks so they may grow towards a future that is not bound by historic currents. The confluence of my experience in construction, which gave me an understanding of the built environment, and my membership in a deeply connected community, which drives my passion for supporting those who surround me, makes a career in urban planning an excellent fit.
