PLAN GRAPHICS AND SITE DESIGN: 2814 MERIDIAN ST 

For my culminating project in Planning Graphics and Site Design, I proposed a redesign for a large commercial lot in the Fountain District, in the City of Bellingham. Currently, a Haggens grocery store occupies the site, with over 50% of the parcel dedicated for parking. By making use of Bellingham's Municipal Code for the Fountain District Urban Village, I proposed a mixed use development that maintains a grocery store but creates space for medium and high density housing, a park and education center, and additional commercial opportunities. I primarily relied on SketchUp Pro to create the site model and esri's ArcGIS Pro for the site design. Additionally, I created supplemental materials to advertise my plan using Adobe Illustrator.
