Hope is recognized as one of the most significant dynamic cognitive skills required for success in our students.
It is the energy that frames resiliency, self-regulation, social-emotional learning, optimism, grit, self-efficacy, and achievement.
Hope is critical to well-being in all its forms. Students need adults who truly BELIEVE in them and CONNECT with them in meaningful ways to help them establish goals and create pathways towards future success. Every student deserves to be protected against hopelessness!
Carlson Elementary participates in CUSD's annual Hope week each November.
