ITS points are points that are given out to INDUCTED club members as a reward for being in involved in theatre events. Whether it be in school, professional, or local productions students can earn points for their involvement in theatre!
Students can earn ITS points in a mulitude of ways. Some of these ways to earn points include but are not limited to:
Being involved in a technical position for a production
Attending a BTC, SIC, or ITS sponsored event
Attending a musical or play at any theatre
Being in a production in any role
If you still have question or whether or not your involvement in an event are acceptable for ITS points, contact your ITS historian (Apple '25-'26 officer) or Mr. Latham!
Points are awarded for students particpating in volunteer theatre events at school and are in alignment with Internional standards.
Participation in Theatre Class per semester: 1 per semester
Participation in Theatre for 8 Consecutive Semesters: 10 points
Participation in Auditions: 1 point
Participation in Acting (Main Stage): 8 for a major role, 6 for a supporting role, 5 for a minor, 2 for a walk on, 2 for an understudy role
Participation in Acting (Muscial): 8 for a major role, 6 for a supporting role, 5 for a minor, 2 for a walk on, 2 for an understudy role, 3 points for a chorus role, 3 points for a dancer
Participation in Acting (One Act): 5 for a major role, 4 for a supporting role, 3 for a minor role, 1 for a walk on, 1 for understudy
Participation in Tech Theatre (Main Stage or Musical): 8 for Stage Manager, 6 for ASM, 2 for crew head, 1 for crew, 1 for tickets and ushers
Participation in Tech Theatre (One Acts): 4 for Stage Manager, 3 for ASM, 2 for crew head, 1 for crew, 1 for tickets and ushers
Attendance for each District and Out of District Performance: 1 per show
Participation in Acting and Tech Festival: 3 points
Attending a Acting and Tech Festival: 1 point
Each Superior Rating in an IE or State One Act: 2 points
Satisfactory Participation in Directing: 4 for One Act, 3 for assistant directing
Participation in Service Activities: 2 points
ITS points are important as they can help you gain grad honors! These grad honors are also dependent of which poitn system you are assigned to and are detailed below !

30 - Star
60 - letter
80 - 1 bar
120 - 2 bars National Honor Thespian
140 - 3 bars International Honor Thespian Honor Cords
