Club Statement
International Thespian Society is for anyone and everyone interested in theatre, whether you are enrolled in a Basha Theatre class or not! Through this club, we hope to help members learn more about what theatre is like not only onstage but backstage as well! Through ITS, students can actively participate and help in how Basha Theatre plans our events and shows! The club also gives students an opportunity to compete at a national level and win technical theatre and performance based awards. As well as awards, students can also earn graduation honors for their time in this club! We hope students of all levels of theatre involvement walk away with a new understanding and appreciation for the art of theatre!
*Our club meets every Friday from 2:30 - 3:00pm in D108. Stop by anytime!!*

Melody is ITS' current President! She has been in Basha theatre since her Freshman year and has been in ITS just as long. Melody has been in three mainstage shows, Murder on the 518, A Midsummer's Night's Dream, and Pericles. She has also been in numerous one - acts and has had the honor to assitant direct Spongebob: The Musical as well as tech for many other events. Melody is currently in BTC and the adaptive theatre class as one of the peers! She is very excited for this opportunity and cannot wait to continue improving Troupe #6815!

Riley Schwanenberger (Junior)
Riley is a junior and is ITS' Bookkeeper for the 2026-27 school year! As last year's Underclassman Representative, Riley has already had some time on the board. Not only that, she has participated in many mainstage shows such as Pericles, Spongebob: The Musical, and many more! Lastly, Riley is beginning her first year in BTC! Riley cannot wait for all of the fun that Troupe #6815 will have this year!

Ariella Gilbert (Sophmore)
Ariella is Basha ITS' historian and publicist for the year. She joined ITS her freshman year and plans to be a part of it until she graduates. She has been apart of two main stage shows and well as multiple one acts. She is also apart of our Improv club, SIC. This is going to be Ariella's second year in BTC and she is very excited to continue being a part of Troupe #6815 this year.

Brayan is a sophmore and is the technical director for Basha High School's ITS. He has created props for two main stage shows. He is very excited for the amazing things in the future for Troupe #6815.
