India's history and culture is dynamic, spanning back to the beginning of human civilization. It begins with a mysterious culture along the Indus River and in farming communities in the southern lands of India. The history of India is punctuated by constant integration of migrating people with the diverse cultures that surround India. Available evidence suggests that the use of iron, copper and other metals was widely prevalent in the Indian sub-continent at a fairly early period, which is indicative of the progress that this part of the world had made. By the end of the fourth millennium BC, India had emerged as a region of highly developed civilization.

Delhi is one of the most aspiring state of India had an epic history. Delhi was known as 'Indarprastha' during the time of Mahabharata. It had many strong empires from Mamluk Dynasty to Lodi Dynasty. It consisted of one the most strongest kingdoms of that period.

Mughals were one of the undisputed kingdoms of medieval period. They dominated almost whole India (including Pakistan & Afghanistan). It was founded by Babur in 1526. They were from Central Asia that descended from the world famous ruler 'Genesis Khan'.

The British Empire refers to the period of British rule on the Indian subcontinent. It was 'East India Company' that took over India in 1747. Later, the power was transferred in hands of British Government. The head of British India was Queen Victoria,
