The National Flag of India is a horizontal rectangular tricolour of India saffron, white and green. India with the Ashok chakra, a 24-spoke wheel, in navy blue at its centre. It was adopted on 22 July 1947 during a constituent assembly meeting and it became the official flag on 15 August 1947. The saffron colour is a symbol of sacrifice and courage. The white colour stands for peace , unity and truth. The green colour represents the culture and fertility of India.

In 1963, the Peacock was declared The National Bird of India because of it's rich, religious, ancient and traditional involvement in Indian heritage. The national bird of India, is a brightly coloured, swan-sized bird, with a tassel of feathers, a white patch under the eye and a long, lean and slim neck. Peacocks symbolise charm, dignity, and beauty. They are a sign of happiness and triumph for all who see them. Peacocks are often used in Indian tradition and myths as well as tales.

In the original, there are four lions, standing back to back, organise on computer with capital carrying models in high relief of an elephant, a rushing horse, a bull and a lion splited by intercede wheels over a convex lotus. sculpted out of a single block of varnish sandstone, the Capital is head by the Wheel of the Law. In the state emblem, adopted by the Government of India on 26 January 1950, only three lions are visible, the fourth being hidden from view. The wheel appears in relief in the centre of the totaliser with a bull on right and a horse on left and the silhouettes of other wheels on extreme right and left. The bell-shaped lotus has been excluded.

- Gazette of India.
- News broadcast by All India Radio.
- Calendars issued by the Government of India.

Dates of the national calendar have a permanent correspondence with dates of the Gregorian calendar falling on 22 March normally and on 21 March in leap year.

The elusive and splendid tiger is a striped animal. It has a thick yellow coat of fur with stripes. Out of eight races of the species known, the Indian race, the Royal Bengal Tiger, is found throughout the country except in the north-western region and also in the neighbouring countries, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh. To check the dimnished population of tigers in India, 'Project Tiger' was launched in April 1973. The symbol, gestate and designed by Udaya Kumar, a post graduate in Design from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, has been chosen from thousands of concept entries received by the Ministry of Finance through an open competition among resident Indian nationals. The process of establishing and execute this new identity is underway through various digital technology and computer applications.
