Your actions are like action bricks . Each thing you do can affect your future. For example, let's say you are not exactly a good kid in class and get in trouble a lot and one day a bully comes up and tries to hurt you and you defend yourself. You accidentally hurt the bully. The bully goes into the office to tell on you. You tell the office that you were trying to defend yourself. What you don't know is that this bully is sneaky and doesn't get in trouble a lot because he puts the blame on others and what you do know is that you get in trouble a lot. You could get blamed for hurting the bully.
Alright, here is a different scenario, you are a good kid and you don't get in trouble too much. One day the same bully comes up and tries to hurt you. You defend yourself but in the process you accidentally hurt the bully, he goes to tell on you. Now, this is the same bully from before. The teachers know you are a good kid and know you wouldn't do something like that. You say that the bully tried to hurt you first and that you were just trying to defend yourself and accidentally hurt them. In this scene, the teachers might actually believe you because of your good deeds in the past. What ever actions you've done in the past may affect your future. It's not fate or good luck or bad luck, it's just your actions leading up to that moment when you might need your past to help you with your future. That's why you should be a good kid. ;)
