The students at Lincoln Elementary School in Oak Park held a book drive for the Educational Center in Kumasi, Ghana (west Africa). The students collected more than 500 books and they will be shipped to Ghana through the African Library Project.

Students at Lincoln collected more than 500 books for children in Ghana. The donated books will be shipped to New Orleans then put on a container ship to Ghana. The whole trip will take more than a month and the books will travel about 5,675 miles!!!

Swachhata Hi Seva ....

Cleanliness is next to Godliness. This mantra was followed by our school students during the ongoing Swachhta Abhiyan from 15 September to 02 October 2018. Our school hosted an Inter School Painting Competition organised by Delhi Police. About 50 students of std. Vl--Vlll from different schools showcased their talent with the pallette.

NGOs MUSKAAN and PRERNA NIKETAN exhibited a variety of gift items for sale in our school premises. These gift products, candles, paper covers and bags,show-pieces,confectionary items, spices, pickles are all handmade by their staff and children in their organisation.

In collaboration with NGO GOONJ, our students collected relief material in the form of food grains, pulses and clothes to extend a helping hand towards the Kerala flood victims.

Deeply anguished by the destruction and hardship faced by the people of Kerala in the wake of unprecedented floods,St. Mark's staff resolved to contribute one-day salary to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund as a token of soldiarity and concern for the people of Kerala.

On the occasion of Independence Day ,a cheque of more than two Lakhs as a donation amount was handed over to Ms Kavita Srivastava, in-charge, SOS Villages of India to benefit the less privilaged society.
