Social media has been blamed for the growing trend of office workers using out of office emails to brag about their summer holidays, glamourous lifestyles and even new babies.

Brags include details of the person’s holidays, their access to glamorous sporting events and landmark life events such as weddings and new babies – some even attached photographs.

Many will mask their boasting in self-deprecation – turning it into a ‘humble brag’ while others prefer to deflect the boastful nature of the content with humour.

But despite the jokes out of office messages are increasingly being used to communicate to contacts how wonderful the worker’s life is – with many sending out thousands of emails including personal details to clients and work associates with whom they have a purely professional relationship.

In today's world it seems without it we cannot survive.

Social media has changed our entire look,

We all are addicted to Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

We all post our photos to get likes and fame,

Nowadays making friends on social media has become a game.

People are talking to strangers without any hesitation,

They are not aware that it could lead to critical situations .

Social media is a wonder if we use it in a right way,

But if we use it negatively then we have to pay.

Social media should be used carefully with brain,

Otherwise its benefits will go in vain.

Definitely social media is very advantageous to us,

As we can also use it while travelling in train or bus.

Social media has spread its addiction to all adults and children,

Howsoever difficult is the task it can be easily done.

Social media, nowadays plays a very important role in one's life. It is very difficult to say whether it is a bane or boon. Sitting behind the computer and communicating with cyber friends can be fun but can weaken a person's eyesight and verbal communication skills.

Internet has been a continual source of news, entertainment and education for users around the globe for nearly more than 20 years. But now, instead of grabbing good things from internet ,adolescents are more exposed to the negative aspects. These days Facebook and twitter and many more similar services are becoming the most visited destinations on the internet. It is normal to see someone clicking pictures in temples and churches instead of worshiping.

Social media has lessened the use of verbal communication and increased the use of online messaging. People nowadays can have 'phone conversations' over the computers. This has been enabled by the development of social sites such as Skype.

With the rising growth of social media networking, businesses are turning to it as a means of advertisement. Facebook send daily reminder of friend birthdays. Instead of picking up the phone to make a call we pick up the phone to just send a message. This has eliminated the need to make a phone call or send a greeting card. Social media can expose the children to cyber bullying and unwanted exposure. There have been many cases where young folks suicide as the result of negative things that have been posted about them on internet.

With the emergence and growth of social media there are advantages and disadvantages to the way communication is impacted. But it all depends that how much are you exposed to social media and how much awareness is there in you while you post or text something on social media.
