Plastic pollution in our oceans is killing marine mammals
It’s been estimated that plastic pollution kills 100,000 marine mammals every year. 81 out of 123 marine mammal species are known to have eaten or been entangled in plastic.

Plastic Waste is going to get worse if we don’t do anything. If no action is taken, the amount of plastic going into the sea every year will rise from 11 million tonnes to 29 million tonnes, leaving a cumulative 600 million tonnes swilling in the ocean by 2040.
What can we do?
1. Recycle.
2. Conserve Water.
3. Reduce waste..
4. Reduce carbon emissions.
5. Say” no” to sky lanterns and balloon releases.
6. Save Energy and reduce carbon emissions.
7. Be mindful of what you send into the ocean
8. Use fewer plastics, especially single-use plastics.
9. Choose Eco-friendly cleaning products.
