Bringing Ocean Conservation Awareness to Local Community

"PROTECT OUR OCEAN" Together,  we can make a difference.

The teachers and students of Haidong Elementary School participated in the "台江Taijiang River Tour" co-organized by Haiwei Temple, Taijiang Branch of Social University, and Taijiang National Park. We took a boat across Sicao Lake along the Shanhaizhen Greenway and landed in Bei On Shanwei Island, experiencing the road of Taijiang ancestors crossing the sea and immigrating to Tainan. Meanwhile, we took the chance to raise the awareness of ocean warming. To reduce our carbon footprint, we decided to walk instead of driving. The whole journey was about 23 kilometers.

Families got together and walked for 20 km to the west coast of Tainan.

A local biologist was introducing Taijiang wetland ecology.

We launched a beach cleanup campaign.

Let's save the ccean.

We can  make a difference.
