What does ongoing outcomes-based assessing and reporting mean?
Ongoing = No surprises. Students and parents can track how they’re doing as learning progresses.
Outcomes-based = Assignments have learner outcomes attached to them and those outcomes are intentionally taught, assessed and evaluated.
PowerTeacher Pro uses the term “Assignment” for entering assessments and grades. The term "ASSIGNMENT" in this case, means entering evidence of learning NOT simply entering an assignment score. Evidence may be observations, checklists, conversations and products.
