On the expression and emotion of animation as read from the look-back
Focusing on the growing popularity of Japanese anime around the world, we explored the reasons for this in terms of the relationship between background music and visuals mainly from the work “Look Back”. “Look Back” is a coming-of-age story about two girls dedicated to making manga, written by Tatsuki Fujimoto, who also wrote Chainsaw Man. We began by researching previous studies and spoke with Kei Mazaki, a faculty member at Kyoto Seika University and an active animator. After that, we actually watched the movie “Look Back” and analyzed the relationship between the images and the background music, and divided the results into three categories.

How to Enhance Water Holding of Soil by Using PGA Extracted from Natto
The purpose of this study is to increase the water retention capacity of soil using PGA solution, and an experiment using a plastic bottle demonstrated that PGA solution has water retention capacity. Furthermore, a germination experiment was conducted to investigate the possibility of applying it to agriculture, and it was confirmed that there were no problems. However, since the experiment showed that the ethanol required to make PGA solution cannot be reused, we aim to find a substitute for ethanol.

A Home Environment Affects the Deveropment of a Child
This study explores what kind of home environment encourages children to lie. Through previous research, we set up a hypothesis that overprotection has the biggest influence on becoming a liar. After visiting a professor in Kyoto to discuss our study, we made a questionnaire to measure correlation between severity and kindness and lies. Results showed that kindness of parents can affect children's lies. However, there is little correlation between severity and lies. (This result may not be reliable enough due to the limited number of parameters. Moreover, the professor mentioned that it’s important for children and parents to make moderate boundaries between them. We want to encourage everyone to pay attention.
The Relationship Between Vision And Taste
When we researched the theme, we understood there is a relationship between food color and taste from a paper. We want to help people suffer lifestyle disease. The methodology of this research uses “Calpico”. We make 4 types of drinks that each have a different taste and color. Subjects will drink and arrange in order of sweetness. As a result, deeper color drinks are sweeter than original drinks. Therefore, we understood that in the case of the same color, deeper color drinks are sweeter, but even if the color of drinks is different, color reversal doesn't occur. Also, it is difficult to apply other drinks. However, we could find that the depth of color affects our taste.
