As a new or even "well-seasoned" educator, you may find yourself at a loss as to where to start. I believe the single most powerful action we can take to support our students is to be highly reflective service providers. One tool that I love to help with that reflection process is the Autism and Low Incidence Classroom Observation Tool (ALCOT). This reflective tool is aligned with CEC standards for special educators and best- and evidence-based practices.  Using this tool, we can celebrate our strengths and pinpoint areas for growth.
