What is a Community of Practice?
A group of people who share a common interest in a topic, a concern or a set of problems and who come together to fulfill both individual and group goals.
Focus on sharing best practices and creating new knowledge to advance a domain of professional practice.
Interaction on an ongoing basis is an important part of this.
Professionals can share their practice experiences, develop and discuss areas of interests and build a sense of community.

Digital Learning
Concern: How do I providing high quality instruction and support for students with significant disabilities in digital learning?
Background: Due to the pandemic, digital learning is a necessary component of school instruction now & in the future. Characteristics of a student with significant disabilities may make it difficult for them to learn in a virtual classroom. Numerous DoSE in the GRREC region have asked for assistance for their MSD teachers.
