Brian Stack and Jon Vander Els (V&S Solutions) will dive further into PLC Leadership work with a four day series Leading Change in Your School or District for District Leaders. This process will begin with looking at the Three Big Ideas of PLC: A focus on learning, rather than teaching, A commitment to a collaborative culture and a focus on results, the information we have at hand, to help inform our decisions.

This interactive workshop focuses on leadership development by providing a system for your Deeper Learning work to sustain and flourish beyond the grant. As an added bonus, you will learn a planning process you can apply across all dimensions of school and district leadership. During this workshop each district will:
Establish goals for sustaining the Deeper Learning work in 2024-25
Design an action plan to achieve the goals
Create a self-monitoring tool to ensure goal attainment

GRREC will partner with V & S School Solutions to support schools to scale student-centered learning practices with a focus on the refinement of PLC collaborative team structures and the development of educator practices and mindsets to deepen the impact on student learning and sustain the work.

We will learn with and from Allen County how several teachers build a great performance assessment task aligned to their grad profile. Participants will be able to refine a current task aligned to HQPA and brainstorm ways to explicitly teach and provide feedback on grad profile skills.

We want to ensure gold-standard project-based learning support is available to any and every educator in Kentucky schools. PBLWorks is launching a new Online PBL101 Flex Workshop that will be available starting in February in six 3-hour sessions. This workshop is an online alternative to this summer’s in-person PBL 101 workshops. This series is recommended for K-12 teachers, coaches, and building administrators interested in learning more about designing, delivering, and assessing gold-standing PBL lessons and units.
