April 18-19, 2024
Jon Vander Els and Brian Stack of V&S School Solutions, joined us and over 100 educators at Hardin County's EC3 for an engaging two-day session on building and maintaining quality PLC's. District and school teams were able to explore structures for effective PLCs, as well as the role of the instructional leader.

Leaders from Hardin County, Allen County, and Glasgow Independent joined the Deeper Learning team on a visit to Crosstown High School in Memphis, Tennessee.
Dr. Robb Smith says, “What an amazing visit. If I could distill my post-visit thinking into one thought, it would be that XTH truly lives their competency profile. So often, it seems we get caught up in satisfying employers. They don’t. They unlock passion within their students and provide the tools for them to be successful wherever they land.”

Participants joined us for a great day of learning at GRREC! Dr. Justin Bathon of UK's Center for Next Generation Leadership shared the science of learning, and Lauren Tanner (GRREC) and Adam Watson (OVEC) taught the 7 Promising Principles, according to Fisher and Frey's book, How Learning Works. Dr. Neihof supported leaders in a better understanding of systems support for the science of learning.

LaRue County, Cumberland County, Barren County, Clinton County, Ohio County, and Owensboro Independent attended our day of learning focused on culminating performance assessments with Alcine from Envision Learning Partners. These teams are committed to building out their Profile of a Graduate so that there is alignment between High Quality Performance Assessments and the competencies of their Profile.
