Happy New Year! Wolverines had a lot of of fun-filled holiday activities in November and December. We had a bunch of Fun Fridays, 4 half day programs, and 1 full day program which included lots of fun games such as pin the nose on the reindeer, snowman toss, freeze tag, and musical hula hoops.
In the before school program we created many fun holiday and winter themed crafts including beautiful "stained glass", adorable ice skates, and wreaths.
In the after school program 3rd and 4th grade focused on holiday music and presented a small concert/sing-along to the younger students.
The holidays are such a good time to give back to others, so we spread kindness and caring to our school community and beyond.
3rd and 4th graders made blankets and donated them to a shelter.
1st grade created Thanksgiving cards that were brought to the senior center.
2nd grade made positive affirmation posters that were hung around school.
In the Wolverines Forward Pre-Kindergarten students discussed family holiday traditions and learned about holidays around the globe.
