I am Mrs. Caviness. I have been a part of the Griswold Public Schools team for 4 years. I have worked in Before and After School programming and child care for over 15 years. I am thrilled to be a part of this wonderful program and the Griswold community!  I am married with 2 wonderful daughters and 2 goofball dogs. I love football, baking, and all things Disney.  

Hello, My name is Ms. Lisa. This is my 3rd year with Wolverines Forward.  My family and I moved  to Griswold from Massachusetts and I’m so excited to be part of the Griswold community!  I love spending time with my family.  I also enjoy participating in team sports, gardening , hiking, kayaking, traveling and exploring new places.  I hold a soft spot in my heart for all animals! 

Hi, I am Mrs. Fargo. I have been a special education para at Griswold Elementary School  for 4 years. I am excited to be a part of our Wolverine Forward program! I enjoy being outdoors, watching movies, and spending time with my husband and two children.

Hello, I am Mrs. Gasparino. I have been working at GES for ten years and am currently working as a paraprofessional in kindergarten. I am married and I have two sons. I like spending time with my family, traveling and going to the beach.

 Hi, I'm Ms. Gencarella and I've worked at GES as a Para for 15 years. I love my job and all the challenges and fun that comes with helping all these kiddos! I have a big family that loves to spend time together!

I am Mrs. Barber. I love working at Griswold Elementary School and have been doing so for over 20 years. I have a wonderful husband and 2 incredible sons who are also married. I am blessed to have a beautiful granddaughter. I love dogs, pizza, reading, the beach, Disney, and spending time with my family. 

Hi, I'm Mrs. Owens. I have been a Paraeducator for over 15 years! Seven of those years were here at GES. My son graduated from GHS in 2019. I am so excited to be a part of the Wolverines Forward Program

Hi! I’m April Chavez but the kids call me Ms. April. This is my second year at GES. I’ve been married for 20 years and have three awesome kids. Two daughters in college and a son who’s a senior. I also have two cuddly pups. I enjoy being with my family, watching soccer, and going to the beach. I’m a Starbucks girl and I am obsessed with Christmas movies. Lastly, I love elephants!

Hi! I am Ms. Peyton and I’m a Kindergarten instructor. This will be my second year doing Wolverine Forward and I absolutely love being involved in this program! I go to Eastern Connecticut State University and want to be an elementary school teacher. I went to Griswold  for 12 years before graduating in 2021. I love giving back to the community by being a good role model! In my free time I enjoy hiking, reading and listening to music. 

Hello! I’m Ms Katelyn, and this is my first year with Griswold public schools, I work with kindergarten! And I have been in childcare for 3 years now working at daycares. I am super excited to help kids build self esteem and find out what they are passionate about through fun learning activities. I love, theater, Disney, and all things animals! I actually have over 10 animals.

My name is Ms. Sarah! This is my 6th year at Griswold Elementary being a paraprofessional! My daughter is in 6th grade at GMS! We both started Griswold together. We love this school and community! I have an adorable Jack Russell dog named Kirby who loves to go on walks and to our football games!! I love all New England sports teams, concerts and going on adventures to find new places to eat at! My Motto is, "Be Kind, whenever possible!

Hi! I am Ms. Lulu. This is my second year working with Griswold public schools! I am a second year student at three rivers community college majoring in accounting ;) 

I am Ms. Angela.  This is my first year at Wolverines Forward.  I have worked in Special Education for 15 years and have worked as an Instructor in a previous afterschool program for 5 years. I am married and have two sons. I enjoy gardening, boating and traveling with my family. 

Hello, I am Ms. Jen. I have been a Para at GES for 15 years. I have a son and daughter plus to cats, Milo and Willy. I believe every child is unique and deserves a caring and engaging environment to learn. I am looking forward to working in the after school program and hope to have lots of fun this year!

Hi, my name is Ben, I'm a 22 year old Software Development student attending GCU, with that in mind, I love to code, I love video games, and I'm hopeful for my future and excited for today.  

Hi, I am Ms. Ashlyn. This is my first year with Wolverines Forward. I graduated from Griswold High School in 2023 and I am currently studying to be an elementary school teacher at Three Rivers Community College. I have spent years working with kids babysitting, working at a summer camp and assisting at a Sunday School which have lead me to choose the career path that I am working on today. 

I am Ms. Nevin. This is my first year working for Griswold school, however I graduated from Griswold last year. I have been working with children for the past 2 years and I absolutely love it. Outside of work I am currently in college and a cheer coach for the junior Griswold youth cheer team.

Hello, I am Ms. Nikki. This is my second year working for Griswold Public Schools. During the school day I am I either working on my classes at Three Rivers Community College or I am at one of the school at the Griswold Public Schools campus working as a substitute medical assistant. I recently graduated from the high school in 2021. I am thrilled to be back in this community.

Hello, I am Ms. Haleigh.  I am an Early Childhood Education Major I have been working In the Childcare Industry for about 4 years now and I have loved it I have worked mostly with Pre-Schoolers.  I am very excited to be a part of the Wolverines Forward Program. 

Hi! I’m Ms. Brooke, this is my first year working with Griswold Public Schools, and am very excited!! I will be attending college next semester studying to be in the medical field.

Hello! My name is Mrs. Post. I have been working at Griswold for 10 years at the high school. Previously, I worked in Early Childhood Education. I am excited to be part of the team this year. I have two daughters, enjoy hiking, going to the beach, and making different things.

I am Mrs. Hart and work full-time as a Para Professional at Griswold High School. I have been with Griswold Public Schools since 2017, and just love working with the kids. Griswold has been my home for 20+ years, and am blessed to work with such a wonderful group of hard-working students. 

Hi! My friends call me Ms. Pepin! I grew up in Griswold and I am a graduate of Griswold High School #WolverineStrong I then went on to graduate from Eastern Connecticut State University with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education and a B.A. in Spanish.  I am also a graduate of The University of Saint Joseph with a Masters in Education. This is my ninth year working in the Early Childhood setting. And fourth year working in the GES Preschool. I have been tutoring a variety of grade levels for over a decade! I spend most of my free time adventuring with my dog Moose.

My name is Ms. Alyssa Rubino and I am very excited to tutor your first grader! I have been a part of the Griswold Public Schools team for 3 years. I have been a special education teacher for 9 years. Your student will work on reading, writing, and math activities during our weekly sessions. Outside of school I love to spend time with my son and our dogs!

Hi! My name is Ms. Knotts and this is my second year working at GES. I recently graduated with my bachelors in Elementary Education and with my masters in Special Education Literacy. Last year I discovered my love for teaching math which makes GES a perfect fit as I get to teach 4th grade math all day! My favorite animal is a cow which plays a huge role in my classroom with cows everywhere you look! When I am not teaching, you can find me crafting or on a walk with my dog named Burke!

 I am Mrs. Tules. I have been working at Griswold Elementary School since 1989!  In the afterschool program I have been spending a short time reinforcing reading skills then the rest of the time the children complete their homework and read books.  It is great to see the students at the end of the day to help reinforce some of their learning and spend some time reading together.

Hi! I am Miss Federico and I have been teaching 4th grade at GES for the past 3 years .I absolutely love being a Griswold Wolverine. I am so excited to join the Wolverines Forward team and so looking forward to working with all of the children! I love to travel to new places and spend time with my five nieces and nephews.
