Success Criteria:
- Introduction: Gives background information to the topic and states the writer’s opinion
- Body: Points in support of the writer’s opinion with evidence, expert opinion and examples. Has a topic sentence to begin each paragraph.
- Reflection: A personal comment or reflection
- Includes modal verbs e.g might, must, should
- Uses conjunctions that show cause and effect e.g. because, so, if...
- Includes text connectives to structure the argument; firstly, secondly, on the other hand...
- Uses rhetorical questions and emotive language

- Write a conclusion that reinforces what you would like your reader to do e.g employ you
- Elaborate each main point with examples
- Use persuasive language features.

WALT: Express an opinion of an activity or place giving supporting reasons.
Success Criteria:
- My review has a title that captures the reader’s attention (your title should summarise your experience or highlight a specific detail)
- My review gives the activity a rating between 1-5 with one being poor and 5 being the best.
- My review highlights the relevant facts using the 5W’s and an H.
- My review includes details and specific adjectives to create interest.
- I have added a helpful hint and a photo.
