Tucket's Ride

 Francis Tucket and his adopted family, Lottie and Billy, are on the Oregon Trail, but a harsh winter forces them south, leading them into the Mexican War of 1848 and capture by desperadoes, where they must rely on loyalty, courage, and resourcefulness to survive.
