Creates inclusive collections that acknowledge and celebrate diverse experiences and provide instructional opportunities to empower learners as effective users and creators of information and ideas.
Curates a diverse collection (cultures, families, race, religion, etc.) at all levels
Provide a variety of reading levels at both schools
Provide eBooks and audiobooks to grades 7-12 via the Wisconsin Schools Digital Library Consortium (WSDLC)
Create appropriate sections of the library for user ease (fiction genres, graphic novel collection, series wall, etc.)
Keep the collections up to date with weeding and purchasing
Perform collection analysis through Follett TitleWave to ensure a well rounded collection
Continue to create smaller collections within the collections to promote user independence
Build student and staff reading confidence and capacity
