Cultivates Community Partnerships

Cultivates partnerships within the school and local community (including families and caregivers, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, public and higher education libraries, businesses) to promote engagement and a community of readers.

Collaboration with Greenwood Area Public Library
- Two IMLS/DPI grant projects successfully completed
- GAPL presence at the elementary school's Family Literacy Nights
Collaboration with area businesses
- Guest readers for the National Library Week Animal Sleepover in 2023 included community members such as the mayor, retired school staff, and a Greenwood police officer

Areas for Growth:

Collaborate with the Greenwood Area Public Library on programming
Explore ways to further business partnerships in the library setting
