Early College Program for 26-27
TRHS offers students the several opportunities to take college level classes while in high school - IB classes, AP classes, and Dual Enrollment classes. Please review the chart for information about each program. If your student is interested in taking Dual Enrollment courses through Greenville Tech next school year, please have them complete the google form emailed to them from Mrs. Guth. New and returning students will use the same form. This is an interest survey, not a commitment. Students will be talking with counselors / parents starting in early February to decide on classes for the 26-27 school year. Students must complete the Google Form by March 12 in order to be eligible to take Early College classes next year.
To qualify for dual enrollment, you must have a 3.0 UNWEIGHTED GPA and an 80 or better in your previous two English and Math classes.
Interested in Going Virtual Next Year?
All Greenville County students have the opportunity to apply for the full-time Virtual Program (GCVSP). The initial application for the 2026-2027 GCS Virtual Program opens at 8:00 AM on Sunday, December 14, 2025, and will continue through 11:59 PM on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
To apply, students must be enrolled in Greenville County Schools, and parents must have a BackPack account. Parents can use the Parent Backpack Application Instructions to assist with the application process.
**Acceptance into the Virtual Program is not guaranteed just by applying through BackPack. Students’ grades, attendance, previous performance in the Virtual Program, and schedule/credit needs will all play a factor in whether a student is accepted or declined for the 2026-2027 school year.**
