Shelley Ross

Shelley Ross, a Greenville native, is Tanglewood’s 6th grade school counselor this year. Counselor Ross has worked over 4 years as a school-based mental health therapist. She has also worked with both adults and adolescents who struggle with unwanted/harmful compulsive behaviors such as addiction. Before Ms. Ross was a counselor and therapist, she taught Health and Physical Education K-12 for over 15 years. 

Counselor Ross has earned the following degrees and certifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Education from Charleston Southern University

• Master of Education in Kinesiology from The Citadel

• Master of Arts in Counseling from Wake Forest University

  • Chi Sigma Iota

  • K-12 South Carolina Teaching Certification 

  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

  • Certified Addiction Therapist (CSAT)

Ms. Ross enjoys helping people. During her free time, enjoys the outdoors; hiking, kayaking, camping, etc.
