About Mrs. Owens

A little bit about me...

I grew up in a small town in the mountains of North Carolina.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte and my Master's Degree in School Counseling from Western Carolina University.  I have been a counselor in private practice and a School Counselor, both at the middle & elementary school levels. I have a deep passion for helping others and feel so thrilled when I see them making lasting, positive change!  

I have one adult son that I spend time with every chance that I get. In my free time, I enjoy doing fun activities with family & friends, working out, being active outdoors, traveling, volunteering in the community,  listening to music, playing fetch with my dog & drinking ☕ coffee ☕  (lots & lots of coffee!)  

I LOVE a good laugh!!!

Weird Fact About Me: 

Both of my parents are only children, I married an only child and am the parent of an only child.
