Congratulations to Riverside High School for an outstanding performance at the 2026 Barkley Forum, a national circuit speech and debate tournament hosted by Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and held online on January 23-25. Featuring some of the strongest competition from across the country including California, Minnesota, Texas, and Florida, the Barkley Forum is a three-day event with over 1700 participants. The tournament does not give an overall team award, but several Riverside students won individual honors.
Enyonam Toklo won 1st place in Informative Speaking. The team of Sash Sivaraman and Artem Feno finished 5th in Duo Interpretation. Juliana Lopez Africano finished 5th in Program Oral Interpretation.
