Riverside High School is committed to encouraging parent involvement at our school. When parents can work side by side with administrators and teachers, our students achieve at their highest potential. There are many opportunities throughout the year where we need help, like supporting hospitality events, doing shifts in the school store, or attending Board meetings to help make decisions on how our monies are dispersed. Your participation keeps Riverside running smoothly and allows staff to have the most positive impact on our students.

Every PTSA member is welcome to join our monthly Board meetings on the last Tuesday of every month at 9am in the Media Center Conference Room. We will also have a few virtual meetings this year to allow more members to participate. Meeting information will be emailed to the PTSA membership, so be sure to join the PTSA to have a direct impact on your student’s education. Become a 2026-27 member of the RHS PTSA HERE. Any student, teacher or parent/family member can join for just $6. Your membership helps support PTSA programs all year long. We appreciate your support!

Welcome to the new school year, Warrior parents! Here's your chance to get an inside peek into your child's day! The RHS School Store located in the lunchroom offers a variety of yummy snacks and drinks so it is super popular among the students. The store officially opens on Monday, August 17 for all lunch periods. So, come volunteer with us!!!…and SIGN UP today. Grab a friend and pick a recurring time slot each week/month OR meet new people and sign up on whatever random days work with your schedule. It's easy and it's fun :) Training is provided on Mondays, or contact Kristen Vaughn for another day. We are open and need volunteers daily from 11:50-2:20. Thank you for serving our students!

PTSA Volunteer Information

The PTSA supports our students, staff, and school through its volunteers. Our biggest needs center around monthly Hospitality and Appreciation efforts for our staff, as well as Student Council events. For up-to-date volunteer needs, please join our Volunteer Communication List by scrolling down and completing the VOLUNTEER FORM on our rhsptsa.com website. And/or join the WARRIOR MAMAS Facebook group. This group provides all the info you need to know about Riverside High. You can also make a one-time donation through our HOSPITALITY OPEN DONATION online payment.

Monthly Cake Information

The PTSA also celebrates staff members for their birthdays with monthly sheet cakes, cards, and treat bags. We would love to have a cake sponsor/donor for every month of the school year! We will recognize your donation that month (ex. Jones Family, Riverside Baseball, etc.) The cost for one cake is $55. To donate, please go to our ONLINE PAYMENT to complete your donation. We appreciate every minute of your time and/or every dollar spent supporting RHS.
