Due to the restrictions implemented by the State, electronic devices, including smartwatches and accessories, cannot be worn during the school day. 

Personal electronic devices must be either turned off or silenced during the school day and must be placed in their bookbag.

Please take the time to create a backpack account for parents. A backpack for parents account provides parents, guardians, or contacts with a central place to sign in to do the following:

• View their student's information including demographics, attendance, classes, grades, lunch balances, and test scores

• Apply or register their student to Special Focus schools and programs (Fine Arts Center, Career Centers, etc.)

• Receive alerts and notifications regarding their students

• View their student's school and contact information

• Manage parent and contact information for their students

To create your parent backpack account follow the attached directions. Please note that parents only need to create a backpack account once. This is not an annual process.

Pay close attention to the attendance policy. RHS is on a block schedule, therefore students are allowed 5 absences for a semester class and 3 for quarter class.

• A reminder that All Early dismissal requests must be submitted by 12:00. The Google form will not be monitored after 12:00 pm. each day. 

• ALL dismissals will be processed in the order they are received. We CANNOT accommodate requests made for immediate dismissal. 

• • Parents/guardians must come into the school if a student needs an immediate dismissal.

All early dismissal requests must be entered AT LEAST 1 hour before a student needs to leave.
