Upstate Champions! - Congratulations to the Riverside High School Girls Team as it won the annual Upstate Girls Tennis Tournament Saturday at Greenville Country Club. The Warriors outpaced State powers Christ Church, Mauldin and Greenville to win the championship. Congratulations to Senior Maddie Bache as she finished undefeated at No. 4 Singles. Congratulations to Coaches Erin Benfield and Heather Gage for their leadership.
1-0 - Congratulations to the Riverside High School Varsity Football Team as it defeated Mauldin, 41-27, in its first game of the 2025-26 season. The Warriors (1-0) will host Greenville (0-1) Friday night at 7:30 p.m.
Welcome - Riverside High School welcomed new head boys soccer coach Douglas Fowler this week. Fowler, who has been with the boys soccer program for the past six years as an assistant, takes over for Scott Columbia. Columbia stepped-down after the Warriors won their 5th consecutive state championship in May. Riverside is tied for the SCHSL record with 17 state championships in its history. Congratulations Coach Fowler.
Riverside High School hosted its second of two Fall Media Dates on Sunday. Thank you to all that came out to get their photos taken.
Do you know what the Booster Club does? At Riverside, we are here to raise money and create a winning and fun culture for our student athletes, families and the school itself. We are a non-profit in which 100% of the money raised goes back to our athletic teams or to make future events bigger and better each year.
After shutting down for two years due to the pandemic, the RHS Booster Club came back last year with several events including our Tailgate at Football games and the popular ESPY's Night in May. In 2025-26, we have even more planned but need your support!
How can you contribute and help your Booster Club? We have a membership drive that will start this week on GoFan. We are hoping that we can get the majority of families at Riverside to become a member. Not only is it tax deductible and inexpensive, it directly helps your coaches and students through athletic needs and wants. There is strength in numbers! We are also looking for Corporate sponsors for some of our events. If you own a business or would like to introduce us to someone that may have an interest, we want to talk with them. Have them reach out to President Shannon Johnson with the RHS Booster Club or message us through this site.
Please follow our Facebook page Riverside Warrior Booster Club and Twitter @RHSWarriorClub and look for the Booster Club table at our home football games this year!
