Due to the restrictions implemented by the State, electronic devices, including smartwatches and accessories, cannot be worn during the school day.
Personal electronic devices must be either turned off or silenced during the school day and must be placed in their bookbag.
Parents - Please make sure you have created a "Parent" Backpack Account so you may have access to your student's academics, attendance and other accounts. This is also one of the major avenues in which the school communicates with parents. Some parents are not receiving communication through Backpack.This may be due to your notification settings. log you’re your Backpack for Parents account and check notification settings and turn the notifications on.
Academic Time - Riverside High School will begin hosting Academic Time (tutoring) on Tuesday, September 3 from 4-5 p.m. Academic Time will be held every Tuesday & Thursday from 4-5 p.m. on the "G Hall". Students that wish to attend must be signed in by 4:00 p.m. or they will not be allowed to attend. Spring Semester Academic Time will begin on Tuesday, January 21.
Pay close attention to the attendance policy. RHS is on a block schedule, therefore students are allowed 5 absences for a semester class and 3 for quarter class.
A reminder that All Early dismissal requests must be submitted by 12:00. The Google form will not be monitored after 12:00 pm. each day.
ALL dismissals will be processed in the order they are received. We CANNOT accommodate requests made for immediate dismissal.
Parents/guardians must come into the school if a student needs an immediate dismissal.
All early dismissal requests must be entered AT LEAST 1 hour before a student needs to leave.
