About Me

About the Teacher:

    I graduated and received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina, in May 2008. I was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. This is my seventeenth year in Greenville. I have taught  5th grade, fourth grade, third grade, second grade, and 1st grade. I live with my wonderful family, which includes my husband, son, and daughter. I enjoy learning new things and having different experiences. I understand that everyone knows and experiences things differently, and I structure my class according to those different experiences and ways of learning. Learning should be considered fun and exciting, and my goal every day is to make sure that it is just that! I love being a teacher and look forward to the future!
