About Me
My name is Sharon Poynter. I have a Masters Degree in Communicative Disorders and hold my Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). I have practiced Speech Therapy for over 30 years. This is my 18th year at Oakview. I have worked in outpatient hospital facilities. I have worked with children from 0 up to 21. I have worked with a variety of disorders from articulation, language, fluency, pragmatics, and autism.
On a personal note, I have lived in Greenville for 25 years since we moved from Orlando, Florida. I have 3 adult children. I enjoy reading and just discovered digital scrapbooking. Some fun facts about myself is I lived in Bermuda for 4 years (navy brat), for 1 year I reviewed recipes for the Greenville news (so I guess I enjoy cooking new foods).
