Mrs. Hansen

This is my fifth year teaching and I love being at Mauldin High! I am currently the Department Head for the CTE Department and an Assistant Athletic Director, as well as the advisor for DECA. Prior to teaching, I spent 20 years in the Sports and Entertainment industry, with professional sports teams, arenas/stadiums and most recently in college athletics. 

I grew up in Michigan, just outside Detroit, and spent summers with my grandparents in the Upper Peninsula.  I attended the University of Michigan and graduated with a degree in Public Relations & Corporate Communications. After meeting my husband and moving all over the US, we settled down in Greenville in 2010. I went back to school in 2018 and earned an MBA from Clemson, specializing in Business Analytics and just graduated from the EdS program at Clemson. 

My husband, Kevin and I have three amazing children, McKella (16), Kalder (13) and Greenlee (11). We also have three rescue dogs and a leopard gecko. We are a sports-obsessed family- my husband played professional hockey for 10 years and my children play travel volleyball and hockey. When we're not flying somewhere for sports, we love attending Mavs games and events!
