New HMH Curriculum Pacing
In 5th grade, we will work with fiction and nonfiction texts to improve our comprehension of texts with increasing complexity. We will explore many topics, including main idea, theme, and plot. We will also discuss the importance of quoting texts to explain and support the reader's thinking.
