Dr. Black and I had the amazing opportunity to work with your students to create this Woodland creature themed tree for the Festival of Trees at the Hyatt. The tree was displayed from November-December of 2025.
In August of 2025, Frameworks Grant: Art Show Supplies was funded. This grant will help with supplies needed for creating and displaying students works in the spring art show.
In September of 2025, Donor Choose Grant: Multicultural Portraits was fully funded. This grant brought in acrylic paint markers, colored pencils, and crayons of varying shades of skin tones, allowing students to create self portraits.
In October of 2025, Adopt a Classroom Grant: Printmaking was funded. This grant brought gelli plates, styrofoam plates, printing paper, acrylic paints, brayers, and printing inks.
In October of 2025, PEP microgrant: Supplies for students with manual dexterity needs was funded. This grant brought in loop scissors, markers, XL colored pencils, pool noodles for gripping, triangle crayons, beginners jumbo pencils, and electric scissors for cardboard.
In December of 2025, Donor Choose Grant: Literacy in Art was fully funded. This grant brought in a variety of children's books on famous artists, art styles, and managing supplies with littles! 😀
Also in December of 2025, Donor Choose Grant: Colorful Marks! was fully funded. This grant brought in specialty markers like: Crayola glitter markers, Crayola metallic markers, Sharpies metallic markers, Posca markers, bright Crayola markers.
In August of 2025, Susan Breisch donated to Woodland's art department with paint samples and other recyclable goodies! Thank you!!!!
